A Message from Jon
Hello church! I want to lead off with a thank you... for you! Thank you for supporting and encouraging me, the other Pastoral Staff, and our Board of Deacons at this time. I have appreciated hearing from students and parents with words of support and suggestions for how to improve our ministries in this season.

It’s a different holy week journey, isn’t it? Not the pattern we have come to know and love. Yet, I wonder if the isolation and unsettledness, brought to us by COVID-19, might allow us to identify more fully with the disciples in their Thursday night, Friday and Saturday distress.

Hello to everyone — As I write from my desk here at the church before taking some time off, I am grateful for you, my church family. I’m glad we have found ways to remain connected as much as possible and I pray you are all handling the isolation well.

We apologize for the confusion caused by the inclusion of previously planned Easter events in the Easter mailing. We were trying to navigate all of the challenges before us and missed pulling that brochure from the envelopes. None of those services or events will be taking place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for your understanding.

Greetings BSBC: I am looking forward to our online service this week, and a warm thanks to Pastor Greg and the leadership team for ensuring that our series in the book of Acts can continue: even amidst the disruptions and daily developments, it is reassuring to know that the Street is committed to studying God’s word and seeking wisdom from Scripture.

In keeping with our desire to minister in new ways in these challenging days we invite you to go online to worship with us each Sunday morning. If you haven’t engaged in last Sunday’s service (March 22) you can still do by going to Worship Online. This service will be available until Saturday night, March 28.

Greetings, Church!
Yesterday, Margaret and I returned from our trip south. This was a time for renewal gifted to us by you, through the Board of Deacons, and received with gratitude.
