Ornaments for Ukraine

Greetings, Church!

Easter is a season that highlights the most amazing sacrifice all, that of Jesus on the cross of Calvary, offering himself for the eternal benefit of humanity.  In keeping with the theme of giving for the benefit of others, this Sunday morning, April 2, before and after the services you are invited to visit the table in the Connections Center where you will find Julia Polyachenko and beautiful Easter ornaments from her homeland – Ukraine.  These are offered for sale with the proceeds going to the direct support of Ukraine’s frontline Medics.  There will also be baking available for sale.

Regardless of your engagement in Sunday’s Connections Center sale, this initiative invites us to renew our prayers for peace in Ukraine and all places in the world that are war torn.  Praying in this way, I believe, honours our Lord Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
