Holy Week at BSBC

The week between Palm Sunday, March 28, and Easter Sunday, April 4, offers some of the most profound opportunities for reflection in the whole year. And so, at BSBC, over that week, we'll repeatedly stop to recognize the reality of God’s love for us as seen as the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross and His glorious resurrection and victory over the bonds of sin and the power of death. Please plan your engagement in what we recognize as a holy week of reflection.

Please pray for our Holy Week plans that they will call us to deeper faith and greater thanks for all the gifts that come to Believers through Jesus’ miraculous journey to life AGAIN!

Palm Sunday

Sunday, March 28, 10:30 a.m.

Palm Sunday morning worship services in the Gym (Contemporary Service), Sanctuary (Traditional Service) and Third Floor (Youth Greenhouse Service) celebrate Jesus as our victorious King.

Sunday, March 28, 6:30 p.m.

A Palm Sunday worship concert in the sanctuary to help us reflect on the implications of Jesus faithfulness in embracing the cross so we could be eternally connected to our holy, loving God.

Good Friday

Friday, April 2, 10:30 a.m.
It’s a day that calls us to recognize that suffering and death was the cost of our salvation. On this particular Good Friday there will be services in both the Sanctuary and in the Gym.

Children’s Easter Party

Saturday, April 3, 2 p.m.
Our children are invited to come to our Easter Party in the sanctuary followed by breakout rooms for “bubbles” to engage in a craft and treats before heading home.  BUT, children can also join us online as this will be a Facebook Live event.

Easter Sunday

Sunday, April 4, 9 a.m.
Keep watching this space for plans for our outdoor celebration of resurrection followed by traditional hot cross buns and drinks – all el fresco! A 20 minute service followed by fellowship. Let’s do things a little differently this year to kick off the day!

Sunday, April 4, 10:30 a.m.

Easter worship that puts an exclamation point at the end of our Holy Week ‘sentence!’ Services in the Sanctuary and Gym. A focus on testimonies of the implications of having a personal, living faith in the risen Christ.
